Welcome to FBA Travel Basketball! We are excited to offer a new "travel" (don't worry--you won't have to travel far) basketball program for Boys and Girls in Grades 3 - 8! If your child desires to develop their skill set beyond our recreational basketball leagues, then this is the program for them. KEY PROGRAM FEATURES: • Convenient Locations: Teams will practice at FBA's new Denny Barrett Fieldhouse and travel will be limited to the North side. • Focused Skill Development: Teams will benefit from 1-2 practices each week, enabling us to prioritize the development of fundamental skills for every player. • League Participation: Teams will compete in the Hoosier Basketball League, providing appropriate competition levels tailored to each team's skill level. • Participants will not have to commit to playing basketball year-round. Does your child love playing other sports throughout the year? Travel leagues will be available during spring, summer, fall, and winter, meaning that your child will have the option to play at different times throughout the year, depending on their availability. While there are many travel basketball programs available in the area, we believe the convenience of location alongside doing things "the FBA way" will offer families a positive, values-based alternative to the high-cost/ high-time commitment that comes with other travel basketball programs.  The cost for FBA Travel Basketball will be higher than our traditional rec leagues for several reasons including better training, frequency of practices, higher-quality uniform package, and league/tourney entry fees. FBA is working to keep our program affordable, and it will be significantly less expensive than other travel basketball programs in the area.
