Fall Flag Football

Welcome to First Baptist Athletics - 2024 Fall Flag Football!

The First Baptist Athletics Flag Football program is designed for players of all skill levels. Our goal is to teach flag football in an environment that emphasizes fun and competition without sacrificing good sportsmanship and respect for others. All practices and games will be held on the outdoor soccer fields at First Baptist Athletics at 8600 N. College Ave, Indianapolis, IN.

Age Divisions

Flag Football divisions are offered for both boys and girls from ages 5 to 13, based on the participant's age as of August 1.

Games Schedules

Practices and Games
All divisions will have one practice during the week of September 23 and a second practice on Saturday, September 28. Practices the week of September 30 prior to their first game on Saturday October 5. Weeknight games will take the place of practices starting the week of October 21. The season will conclude on Saturday, November 9, giving each team 8 games for the season. (No weeknight games the week of November 4 due to daylight savings)

All Flag Football activities will take place on the FBA soccer fields.


Cost
The cost per participant for the season is $150 for all divisions. A $15 late fee for registration will be charged starting on September 16.

Equipment/Supplies

Participants should bring a water bottle and wear cleats/ tennis shoes, socks, shorts (or sweatpants), mouthpiece, and t-shirts to practices and games. First Baptist Athletics will provide a game jersey and individual set of flags (player keeps).

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer coaches are needed for every team. Please consider volunteering as a head coach or assistant coach when registering your child. A criminal background check is required for all coaches.

Head Coaches are asked to attend a coaches meeting before the season starts and will receive rosters, team schedules, and uniforms. Coaches will lead drills at practices and oversee game activities.

Assistant Coaches lend a significant helping hand to head coaches at practices and games.
