PICKLEBALL AT FBA

Pickleball Clinics

For: Ages 12 years and up

Session Duration: 90 Minutes

Location: Inside Denny Barrett Fieldhouse at 8710 N College Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46240 (parking lot is shared with the church)

Cost: $40 per session

The Pickleball 101 (Beginner) Clinic is designed for players new to this popular sport. Instructor Steve Farley is an advanced level player, and he’ll teach you the basic shots, the rules of the game, how to keep score, and basic partner doubles strategy. By the end of this clinic, you’ll be playing a real pickleball game! Pickleball is America’s fastest-growing sport! Come join us and see why millions of players say pickleball is a fun way to exercise! Participants should bring a water bottle. Paddles will be provided to players who don’t have one.

The Pickleball 201 (Intermediate) Clinic is designed for players who have previously taken a Pickleball 101 Clinic and have begun playing recreational pickleball on a regular basis (Level 2.5 - 3.0). Instructor Steve Farley will help you take your skills to a higher level! He'll will cover dinking, volleys, stronger serves, more consistent returns, 3rd shot options, blocks/resets, court coverage strategy, communication, and more! Participants should bring a water bottle and their paddle.

The Pickleball 301 (Competitive) Clinic is designed for players who have previously taken a Pickleball 201 Clinic and want to play at a higher competitive level (Level 3.0 - 3.5). Instructor Steve Farley will cover offensive and defensive lobs, top spin / back spin, overheads, improved 3rd shots, quicker reactions at the kitchen, and speed-ups. He will also discuss poaching, stacking, and demonstrate advanced shots like the ATP and Erne! Participants should bring a water bottle and their paddle.

In all FBA Pickleball Clinics, there will be time at the end for live game play. We will be using multiple courts, but space is limited so a waiting list will be started once each clinic is full. Pickleball Basic Rules Overview
